Karen is originally form the NSW South Coast before moving to the Redlands with her husband and daughter in 2006 to purchase their own business.

While growing up and living on the South Coast, Karen was heavily involved in Surf Lifesaving. Achieving all major awards offered by Surf Lifesaving Australia. Karen was awarded the Shoalhaven City Council Youth Australia Day Award, Represented Surf Lifesaving Australia on an Educational tour to Asia to promote the use of inflatable Rescue Boats.

In more recent time’s Karen successfully trained and completed the 2010 Kokoda challenge on the Gold Coast and also tried her hand at a couple of triathlons.

Her other interests are, walking, reading, tennis and swimming and drinking too much coffee....
